We'll let you know when a new post goes up.

I’m on the hunt for the perfect fall boot – in fact, I’ve been collecting cute riding boot looks on Pinterest for weeks, but I (hangs head) can’t wear any of them because I don’t own a cute pair of riding boots. I spent some time browsing Nordstrom, Zappos, Macy’s and some smaller retailers’ sites and here’s the best boots for fall 2012 looks I found:

Bed Stu ‘Eagle’ Side Zip Boot for $146.90

The zip side, the so-worn-in leather and the classic shape make me love the Bed Stu Eagle boot. This is your Sunday drive to the country boot, your “going to the pumpkin patch” boot.

Enzo Angiolini ‘Saylem’ Riding Boot for $159.95

This is a classic riding boot, but it’s got a little flair and a little motorcycle gang mixed in with the straps and buckles. It comes in black too, if you’re so inclined, but I’m on the lookout for a brown boot.

Steve Madden ‘Fairmont’ Boot for $169.95

The Steve Madden Fairmont has cute buckles, like the Enzo Angiolini Saylem, but a more Western shape. I love how to the toe is a darker black-brown than the rest of the boot.

Frye ‘Phillip Harness’ Tall Boot for $327.95

Frye boots are very proud of themselves (meaning they’re pretty expensive), but they are really the cream of crop if you’re looking for authentically aged and distressed leather.

Frye ‘Phillip Studded Harness’ Boot for $377.95

With studs and that ultra-aged look, the Frye Phillip Studded Harness Boot is the Phillip (above) with an even edgier edge.

Frye Paige Tall Riding Boots for $348

Sometimes, it’s about simplicity with style. The Paige Tall boot accomplishes both, with a Western feel that’s not over-the-top and costume-y.

Frye Melissa Button Boots for $348

Who doesn’t wish they were a modern day Calamity Jane, rustling cattle and robbing banks with their six shooter? Oh, that’s just me? The Melissa Button boots are as authentic feeling as it gets, without actually committing armed robbery.

Jessica Simpson ‘Esteem’ Boot (Extended Calf) for $188.95

Like the Steve Madden Fairmont (above), these Jessica Simpson Esteem boots feature a darker toe, but with a rich rusty color they call “Whiskey.” I love these shades of brown together.

Chaco ‘Mara’ Boot for $194.95

It might not be the most stylish boot, but the Chaco Mara is no-nonsense and ready to cut the grass and bag the leaves. It’s got a side zip, a textured sole for traction and is waterproof. There’s something about the utilitarianism of these that I find adorbs too.

Enzo Angiolini ‘Zarynn’ Riding Boot for $179.95

This ultra sleek riding boot from Enzo Angiolini is a rich chocolate brown and is a great pick for your “wear everywhere” boot. It won’t stand out too much on it’s own and will let your clothes be the start of the show. If you only get one boot, this is a great choice to go with everything.

And some styling ideas, direct from my Pinterest boards:

Navy leggings, button up, and boots.

Cameron Ddaz doing jean, boots and slouchy sweaters.

Layered color tops with tall brown boots.

Do you like this look? What boots are your pick?
